A more than 1 km strip on the beach with rock pools, shark nets, snorkelling, scuba diving spots, fishing and the best swimming beach all walking distance from the park. No railway line to cross, our 260 stands are covered with grass and gravel and partial shade mostly with stunning sea views. Offering two swimming pools, play park, entertainment hall for the kids and a great coffee shop right on the beach! We pride ourselves on our wheelchair friendly and spotless ablutions. Tent erectors and cleaning ladies are available on a fee for service basis. We also have two dedicated laundries in the park for your convenience. Information is available on a vast number of activities in the surrounding area from our friendly reception personnel. Scottburgh offers a number of restaurants and shops all within walking distance of the resort.

I/We hereby agree that is a condition of my / our occupation of the park premises that the owner shall not be responsible for the loss or damage to any property or person bought by me/ us and the party accompanying me/us upon the premises whether arising from fire, theft or from any other causes and by whomsoever caused or arising from the negligence (Gross otherwise) or wrongful act on any person in the employ of the owner. I/We whether or not I/We occupy stands in the caravan park am/ are deemed to contract with the owner on the basis. I/We also accept and agree to all the rules and regulations and policies of Scottburgh Caravan Park and the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment's (DFFE) laws and regulations.

In any well-run establishment some common sense rules need to be enforced to ensure your hard-earned holiday is a pleasure. Please accept ours in the sincere spirit in which they were drawn up.

No portable or inflatable swimming pools allowed.
No Urns, Tumble dryers, Dry Buddies, Washing machines and Electric heaters allowed. Laundry facilities are available.
No generators allowed. Only inverters or solar panels allowed
No skate board, roller blades and push bikes are allowed in the park.
Only proper camping frame tents will be allowed. No army tents, no sleeping in your car.
Vehicle permits are not transferable from one vehicle to another. Additional fee for an extra vehicle per night. Golf Cart only allowed to be operated by persons over the age of 18 years.
Only one caravan or tent trailer or motorhome allowed per site/maximum of 7 people and all equipment needs to fit in neatly on site.
Parking on adjacent sites is inconsiderate & forbidden.
The speed limit in the park is 15km/h.
No washing lines may be erected on your site – please use the designated areas behind the laundries Proper windy driers are allowed but should be out of sight. No washing of laundry allowed in showers and baths.
The office must be advised of any overnight visitors, this is for your own security. A charge of R30 and R40(High Season) per person for day visitors will be charged at the gate/office.
Vandalism and theft will not be tolerated and will result in prosecution.
The departure time of 10h00 will be strictly enforced; in consideration of new guests arriving after a long and tiring journey.
No loud music or bad behavior at any time will be tolerated in our Park. Park must be quiet after 22h00. Should there be any complaints you agree to be given one warning before being evicted with no refund.
Online Payments is our preffered method of payment, Card and Zapper facilities available. Diner’s Club and American Express are not accepted.
Braai-fires directly on the grass is obviously not permitted. Bring your own braai. Only a few available to hire at the shop. Washing of braais is not allowed in washing troth’s areas.
Only woven or net groundsheets are allowed and definitely not to be washed in the washing machines. No plastic on the grass, please.
No cleaning of fish allowed in the park. Please do this on the beach before returning to the park. A valid fishing license is required and NO drone fishing allowed by Law.
Small breed of dogs are allowed during Low and Mid Seasons at a charge of R40 per dog per night. Dogs must be on a leash and you’re responsible to clean up after your dogs! No exceptions! Max 2 dogs per site
We do not accept teenagers as campers without adult supervision.
Senior Citizen tariffs do not apply during Easter and Dec/Jan school holidays.
Small children should be supervised when using the ablution.
Right of Admission Reserved.
Our gate, office and shop is under 24 hour CCTV and audio surveillance.
No selling of goods and food allowed in the park by our guests. Allocated market days will be available.
Repeat bookings must be confirmed and deposits paid before your departure, if not they will be reallocated.
If you need to move a booking, it needs to be in the same year and seasonal tariffs will apply. Booking editing fee of R100 per change will be charged.

Sanitise and wash hands regularly.
No charge for children under 5 years of age.
Vehicle permits need to be visible on your dashboard to allow access through the roadblocks and into the park

Tent Erectors are no longer working for the park. They work on a fee for service basis. No more than 2 per site and no longer than 2 hrs. Recommended fee is R50-R70 p.p.p.h. Please book at the office or at the gate.
Complaints, faults and problems need to be reported at reception or at the security gate after hours.
Laundry service is available at Block 2. Vouchers are available at reception or at the security gate after hours. Operating hours will be available at the laundries. Two coin-operated self-service machines are available at Block 1
A bicycle permit needs to be purchase at reception for the kids and attached to the front of their bicycle for identification purposes. Parents are responsible for their children to adhere to the bicycle rules or the bicycles will be confiscated.
Electricity supply is 10-15 Amps per site, please use the electricity sparingly; you cannot have too many appliances running at the same time.
Please use water sparingly. No washing of cars allowed in the park.
Scotties Coffee Shop caters to almost all your needs and has a delicious sit-down and take-away menu. Toys, ice, charcoal, ice cream, cold drinks, bread, and milk are only a few of the things available to buy.
WE have been having challenges with monkeys and cats, please keep your food stowed away. Please do not feed them

Deposits, Cancellation and Reservation Editing Fees and Notice Period are as follows:

Cottage Breakage Deposit:

R750 payable on arrival. Checklist needs to be submitted to reception shortly after arrival and if A/H, the next morning.

Reservation Changes:

A Reservation Editing Fee of R100 will be charged for any changes after a booking has been made.

Any changes in a decrease in the amount of persons or days on your booking during the short notice period will not be refunded but carried over to your next booking. Min short notice period will be 30 Days for Mid - High Season.
